Against the background of the heavy rains that were witnessed in many parts of the country in August, Gem & Jewellery National Relief Foundation (GJNRF) joined hands with Samasth Mahajan to ensure that over 1,000 children of school-going age in Mumbai were well-equipped for the season.
The two organisations undertook drives in various parts of the city between Aug 16-25, covering the following areas:
- B. L. Agrawal Primary School, Linking Road, Bandra
- Nityanand Ashram, Mira Bhayandar
- Slum areas in
- National Highway
- Sion Hospital
- Jogeshwari Vikhroli Link Road
- Charkop
- Gorai
- Nalasopara
- Navi Mumbai
The gifts were a great boon for the children and their families.
