At a special function organized on June 4 by the Diamond Workers Union, Gujarat, special ‘Sahayog’ kits of notebooks were distributed to over 8,000 children of diamond artisans on the eve of the reopening of schools. The notebooks were sponsored by Gem & Jewellery National Relief Foundation (GJNRF).
Children received their notebooks at the hands of Shri C.R. Patil, President of BJP in Gujarat BJP, Shri Bharat Kakadiya, Trustee GJNRF, and other dignitaries.
Notebook distribution programmes at the start of the new academic year has been one of the regular activities undertaken by GJNRF over the years.
