Gem & Jewellery National Relief Foundation (GJNRF) has sponsored free eye operations for 1,000 patients at the Smt. H. A. Shah General Hospital, Satlasana in Mehsana district of Gujarat during the year 2022-23.
The hospital, which is under the Sheth C. N. Arogyanidhi, is situated in a rural area and caters largely to the needs of the underprivileged sections of the population in the region.
In 2021-22, the Foundation had similarly sponsored the cost of 1,000 eye operations for the benefit of those unable to afford the cost.
